COMMUNITY AWARD
CHICK HEARN

The Voice of the Lakers, Chick Hearn, will be saluted as the “Man of Iron”. For over 3 decades he has reported on more than 3,000 games and not missed one.

It would be as safe as a game in Chick Hearn’s proverbial refrigerator to assume that not a single soul of the Lakers fans can claim to have witnessed every single game, point, players and win. Except one. That incrdible distinction belongs to Chick Hearn, the lone play-by-play man in Los Angeles Lakers history who enters his 39th season of providing NBA fans with his colorful and entertaining ”words-eye-view”.

PROJECT DISPLAYS

More than 30 major development undeway by firms in greater Los Angeles will be on display in the Music Center lobby, including the new Coliseum.
