The 38th Annual Los Angeles Headquarters Association Awards luncheon set an all time attendance record from the greater Los Angeles business community and was hailed as an unqualified success by members and attendees.
   The main floor and balcony tiers of the Music Center we packed as over 700 people applauded the awardees and networked with each other.
   The Grand Hall featured current projects by real estate developers, architects and planners — always a popular and innovative part of this event.


Ed Roski, Spirit of Los Angeles recipient, receives the coveted award from Council President John Ferraro, a previous awardee.


Chick Hearn, the Voice of the Lakers, accepts mementos representative of his long career.


Education Committee Chairs Parker Jones and Bob Mosier shake the hand of the model city mayor from Utah Street School.

Cultural Award
Japanese American National Museum

Luncheon Chair Barbara Trister and president John Stern congratulate Irene Hirano of the Japanese American National Museum who accepted the Cultural Award.

The USC Marching Band led the crowd up the stairs with a rousing tune.
